Smithfield Farm, established in 2000, is a multi-faceted equestrian facility, located in Southeastern Massachusetts in the village of Hatchville on Cape Cod. Its primary goal is the breeding, training, and showing of American Paint Horses.
Amanda Wass, head trainer, is dedicated to identifying the strengths of each horse/rider and making them the best that they can be. Many of the Smithfield horses have traveled to the APHA and PTHA World Shows and have returned with Top Ten Placings and World Titles.
Whether you are looking to compete, improve your riding skills, or just want to meander on the trails, please visit our facility and see if the fit is right for you. In addition to our training program, we offer eight certified instructors (both English and Western) for lessons, summer camps, specialty groups, and therapeutic riding.
And, we have a staff of fabulous horses that love their job!
